Comprised of Eric and former Last Call lead singer Kim Engebretson (otherwise known as “That 70s Girl” or, simply, “KimE”), the focus of Diamonds and Dreams is to bring you the “songs you thought you forgot” from the 1970s.  From mid-tempo singalongs by such female artists as Linda Rondstadt, Fleetwood Mac, Olivia Newton-John and Carly Simon to heavy-hitters and disco hits by Heart, Cher, Blondie and ABBA, Kim brings it home every night with her beautiful voice and impeccable delivery.

While still very much an avenue for Eric to present his Neil Diamond chops, he invariably dips a bit more into the grab bag of 70s one-hit wonders on these evenings, singing such classics as “Brandy (You’re a Fine Girl)”, “Moonlight Feels Right”, “Dancing in the Moonlight”, “Nice To Be With You”, "Escape (The Pina Colada Song)" and “Is She Really Going Out With Him?”.

Kim Engebretson began singing for multiple choirs while she was in school: Jazz, Swing, Madrigal, etc. and was the typical choir geek that performed in most musicals and theatre presentations.  While in college, she continued with choir and musical groups singing Bach and Beethoven, after which she joined the local city choir which lasted two years.  Needing a wilder scene (as the average age of the choir was about 50), she became part of the Brian McLaughlin Band.  Shortly after that band broke up, she became a member of Cruisin', then the Variety/Top 40 band Last Call and performed all over Wisconsin until their break-up in 2007.
